Oligonucleotide synthesis is the chemical synthesis of short nucleic acid fragments with defined sequence. In this process, 2 - deoxynucleosides (dA, dC, dG and dT), ribonucleosides (A, C, G and U) or chemically modified nucleosides (such as LNA) are synthesized by solid-phase phosphoramide method to obtain sequences with specific chemical structure and function.
